Before the tournament starts!

Check-in requirements and process


In order to enter the tournament, it is mandatory that all teams complete their check-in process.  We highly recommend teams to check-in on Friday night at the Team Hotel University Inn, 611 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 from 3pm to 8pm.  If a complete team cannot check-in we would like to have all paperwork and as many kids done on Friday.  All others need to be at Registration tent, by the Main Stage, at least 60 minutes before their first game Saturday morning. 

Requirements:

1. Signed Hold harmless-liability: It is required for all the players. Please download it, print it and bring it signed to the Check-in desk. VERY IMPORTANT: Hold harmless-liability certificates for youth players (players under 18 years old of age) should be signed by one of his/her parents or legal guardian.

2. Photo ID: It is required that all players present an Identification Card showing the date of birth and picture, a player pass (I.e. CYSA, AYSO) or copy of birth certificate (see guidelines below) at the Check-in desk.
 

Important Information

1. All players and coaches must check-in in person
2. Please present the ID's and signed liability certificates in alphabetical order and have all players lined up in the same order
3. Hold-harmeless liability certificates must have original signatures (fax copies or fotocopies will not be accepted)
4. At this point, official Pro-Am Beach Soccer Official wristbands will be attached to confirmed players and coaches
5. Wristbands must not be removed unless the player or coache decides to leave the tournament. This is your tournament pass.

Guidelines for a copy of Birth Certificate

1. Can be the following: Documents issued by an appropriate government agency; board of health records; passport; alian registration card issued by the United States Government; a certificate issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service attestiong to age; a certificate of an American citizen born abroad issued by the appropriate government agency; a current driver's license; or a current identification card issued by DMV.
2. Foreign language birth documents must be accompanied by a properly completed Foreign Document Translation Form.
3. Forms like: Hospital, Baptismal or Religious certificates will not be accepted.

Please note that no exceptions will be made. We highly encourage you to come prepared! It will help us be more efficient and save time!
